AXIS – HIKVISION – DAHUA

Security infrastructure that sees everything, records reliably, and holds up when it matters.

A camera that isn’t recording. An access door that logs nothing. A VMS that nobody knows how to operate. Security systems fail quietly and the failure only becomes visible after an incident, when the footage isn’t there or the audit trail is incomplete. Zerick designs and deploys security infrastructure built to perform continuously, not just to pass an installation checklist.

Who We Are in This Space

Zerick delivers IP-based security and surveillance systems across government institutions, public sector facilities, and organizations of all scales. Security is not a separate discipline for us. Our background in network infrastructure means we design the network that carries the security system at the same time as we design the system itself: camera placement, bandwidth requirements, storage calculations, and network topology planned as a single architecture rather than bolted together after the fact.

We work with Axis, Hikvision, and Dahua as primary camera platforms, and we select based on the project environment, client requirements, and where applicable, procurement or compliance constraints.

Proactive intelligence for a zero-blind-spot environment.

The Problem We Solve

Most security system problems are not equipment problems. They are design and planning problems that become equipment problems over time. Cameras positioned for coverage that looks good on paper but has blind spots in practice. Storage that runs out after eleven days when the retention requirement is thirty. A network that wasn’t sized for the bandwidth load of sixteen 4K cameras running continuously.

And underneath all of it is a system that was installed, signed off, and never seriously reviewed again. Until something happens. Zerick approaches security infrastructure the way we approach any critical system, with a design process that starts from the operational requirement, an installation process that is documented and tested, and a handover process that leaves the client actually in control of their own system.

IP camera systems & CCTV

End-to-end IP surveillance deployments: site survey and camera placement design, camera supply and installation, network infrastructure, storage architecture, and VMS configuration. We calculate storage requirements based on actual retention needs, compression settings, and camera count – not estimates.

Video management software

VMS platform selection, configuration, and operator training. We configure the platform around actual operational workflows, set up alerting and event rules that match how the client works, and train operators to the point where the system is genuinely usable.

Access control & door management

Electronic access control systems for facilities that need to manage, log, and audit who enters where and when. Card and credential-based access, door controllers, integration with identity management systems, and audit trail reporting.

Perimeter security & detection

Perimeter camera coverage, motion detection zones, video analytics, and alarm integration for facilities requiring active detection rather than passive recording.

Wireless camera networks

For sites where cable runs are impractical – large outdoor areas, historic buildings, industrial facilities – we deploy wireless camera backhaul using point-to-point and point-to-multipoint links.

System audit & upgrade

For organizations with existing surveillance infrastructure that has grown organically or aged out of reliable operation – a full system audit covering camera coverage gaps, storage adequacy, network capacity, VMS configuration, and documentation completeness.

Our Vendor Approach

Axis

The benchmark for professional IP surveillance. Our primary recommendation for government, institutional, and high-security environments where product longevity and vendor accountability matter.

Hikvision

A strong performer across a wide product range. Cost-effective for large deployments where camera count is high and budget is a realistic constraint.

Dahua

A broad product portfolio covering standard surveillance through to AI-enabled analytics cameras. Competitive pricing at scale and a strong range of specialist form factors.

Vendor-agnostic selection

The right camera for a given position depends on the optical requirement, the installation environment, the network it sits on, and the VMS it reports to. We specify per-position where the project warrants it.

Industries We Serve in This Pillar

Our client base reflects the trust that comes from working this way. Government institutions, banking sector organizations, automotive operations, municipalities, cultural facilities, and private businesses across the region – each with infrastructure that carries real operational consequences when it fails.

Government & public sector

Infrastructure that supports public services carries compliance requirements, documentation standards, and uptime expectations that demand a structured approach.

SMBs & growing businesses

Organizations at the point where IT decisions become consequential – needing the right advice, the right equipment, and a partner who will still be accountable six months after the project closes.

Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals

Clinics and pharmaceutical producers have zero tolerance for downtime and strict requirements for data integrity. Whether it is a local clinic in Sarajevo or a regional pharmaceutical distribution center, our approach is built on “Critical Continuity”

Why Zerick

What distinguishes Zerick in this space is the combination of security system expertise and network infrastructure depth. We don’t hand off the network design to someone else and hope it works.

Concerned about gaps in your current surveillance coverage or starting from scratch? A site survey is the right first step. We’ll tell you exactly what you have and what you need.

We design the security system and the network it runs on as a single architecture which is the only way to guarantee that a high-resolution, multi-camera system actually performs the way it was specified to.
