DELLEMC – HPE – CISCO – UBIQUITI – SUPERMICRO

A network that was never properly designed will never properly scale.

Most network problems aren’t hardware problems. They’re design problems that accumulated over years of quick fixes, unplanned additions, and devices nobody can account for anymore. Zerick untangles what’s there, builds what’s needed, and designs for where you’re going.

Who We Are in This Space

Networks are where Zerick’s work is most visible and most consequential. From point-to-point wireless links spanning kilometers across difficult terrain to structured LAN deployments inside a single building, we design and deliver network infrastructure that performs under real conditions.

We’re vendor-agnostic by principle. We work with Cisco, Ubiquiti, HPE, and Dell EMC networking equipment, and we select based on what the project actually requires, not what generates the best margin. For clients where budget is a realistic constraint, we also supply certified refurbished networking equipment from trusted sources, giving access to enterprise-grade hardware at a fraction of the price.

Mapping the chaos. Engineering the solution.

The Problem We Solve

The most common thing we find when we walk into an existing network environment is not a single point of failure but accumulated chaos. A switch added here, an access point bolted on there, a router nobody configured properly five years ago that’s somehow still running. Devices on the network that nobody can identify. IP address schemes that were never documented. Wireless coverage that works in some rooms and drops out in others for reasons nobody can explain.

Organizations don’t build bad networks on purpose. They build adequate networks that get patched and extended over time until the whole thing becomes fragile, opaque, and impossible to troubleshoot. By the time something breaks seriously, nobody knows where to start.

We do. Zerick starts every network engagement with a full audit of what’s actually there: documenting devices, mapping topology, identifying risks before recommending a single piece of new hardware.

Wireless multipoint networks (PtP / PtMP)

Point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless links for connecting buildings, sites, and locations where fiber isn’t practical or cost-effective. Commonly used for IP camera backhaul, inter-site connectivity, and extending network reach across campuses, industrial areas, and municipal infrastructure.

LAN / WAN design & deployment

Structured local area network design from the ground up or a full redesign of what’s already there. Proper VLAN segmentation, switching hierarchy, routing, redundancy, and documentation. WAN connectivity planning for multi-site organizations that need reliable, manageable links between locations.

Wi-Fi coverage – indoor & outdoor

Wireless coverage designed around actual usage patterns, building materials, and device density. Indoor deployments for offices, warehouses, hotels, and public spaces. Outdoor deployments for campuses, parking areas, open facilities, and municipal environments.

Network audits & infrastructure mapping

Before we recommend anything, we find out what’s actually running. A full network audit identifies every active device, maps the topology, documents the IP scheme, flags security risks, and gives your organization a clear picture of its own infrastructure – often for the first time.

Structured cabling & fiber

Cat6/Cat6A copper runs, fiber backbone installation, patch panel termination, and cable management. A clean physical network makes everything easier: troubleshooting, expansion, maintenance.

Network security & access control

Firewall configuration, VLAN-based traffic segmentation, guest network isolation, and access control policies. Security built into the network architecture rather than bolted on afterward.

Network management & monitoring

Centralized management platforms, SNMP monitoring, and alerting so you know what’s happening on your network in real time rather than finding out when something stops working.

Certified refurbished equipment

Enterprise-grade networking hardware sourced from certified refurbishment channels. Same performance, significantly lower cost. A practical option for organizations that need quality infrastructure without a large budget.

Our Vendor Partnerships

PowerEdge servers, PowerStore and PowerVault storage, and Dell networking. A strong portfolio for virtualization-heavy and high-availability deployments.

Smart-UPS systems, power distribution, and physical data center infrastructure. Critical for any environment where uptime is non-negotiable.

ThinkSystem servers and ThinkStation workstations. A cost-competitive, enterprise-grade option for compute and endpoint deployments at scale.

Servers, storage, Aruba networking, and HPE GreenLake infrastructure. One of our primary compute and networking platforms across SMB and enterprise environments.

UniFi switching, wireless, and network video. High-performance infrastructure at a price point that works for mid-market and distributed environments.

Enterprise networking across Catalyst switching, ISR routing, and Meraki cloud-managed infrastructure. The industry standard for structured, scalable network environments.

How we work

1. Audit before everything

We don’t start by selling equipment. We start by finding out what you already have. Every network engagement begins with a discovery phase: active scanning, device identification, topology mapping, and a plain-language report of what we found.

2. Design that accounts for where you’re going

A network designed for today that can’t accommodate tomorrow is just a slower version of the problem you already had. We design for current needs with deliberate headroom.

3. Clean deployment

Cabling labeled and documented. Configurations backed up and handed over. Every device named, addressed, and recorded in a network diagram you’ll actually be able to use.

4. Handover with visibility

You leave the engagement knowing your own network. Documentation, topology diagrams, device inventory, and configuration backups are standard deliverables.

5. Ongoing support

Networks evolve. We’re available for moves, add-ons, changes, troubleshooting, and expansion, as an extension of your team or on a project basis.

Why Zerick

Being vendor-agnostic means we can give you an honest answer about what your environment actually needs whether that’s Cisco at one end of the spectrum, Ubiquiti at the other, or certified refurbished equipment somewhere in the middle. The goal is a network that works, that you understand, and that you can grow with.

Not sure where your network stands? Start with an audit. We’ll tell you exactly what’s there and what needs to change.

We’ve seen what happens when networks are built reactively and we’ve spent years cleaning up the results. Our approach is deliberate: audit first, design second, deploy third. No assumptions, no shortcuts, no undocumented changes.
